Nicole’s Journey With Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension
My story is of a postural or orthostatic headache. This is the major symptom of a Cerebral Spinal Fluid Leak. After many tests, and two trips to the ER my neurologist was able to come to this diagnosis and expedite treatment. The headache from this issue is truly debilitating and the only relief is lying down. I think it’s important to shed some light on this particular type of headache as many people suffer from misdiagnoses and mistreatment before finally getting the proper care they need to treat this.
